Chatbots learn when humans teach them!
Your chatbot first starts to learn when we seed its knowledge base. This means we've added some initial answers to the chatbot's knowledge base, and it provides the foundation of knowledge for your bot to work from. After this foundation is set, your bot will continue to learn as it interacts with users. When users ask about different topics or ask the same questions in different ways, the bot is learning.
As students ask questions, your bot continually receives feedback from human staff on answers it provided but wasn’t fully confident they are correct and it learns new answers as more information is added to the knowledge base. Over time, this helps your bot learn how to do more and more on its own.
