Overview
The Mainstay Script Library contains research-backed scripts designed to drive student impact. These scripts are targeted at supporting students through key touch-points of the admissions process and driving engagement and support for matriculated students. Having access to these scripts should save you time as you develop your communications and also give insight into the types of messages that our analysis shows drive higher engagement.
Use these script templates by copying them into My Scripts.
To access the Script Library, navigate to the Scripts tool, then select "Script Library" on the bottom of the sidebar.
Categorization
The Scripts in the Mainstay Script Library have been organized by a set of topics and Tags to make it easier to find the right content for each situation.
- Topic provides a general taxonomy of the theme of the content.
- Tags provide a secondary categorization - other factors that may be relevant.
You can also search by Script name or description.
Preview & Copy
Click into any row to see more information about the script, including metadata such as a suggested audience and created/updated timestamps. You will also see a full scrollable preview of the script messages.
To make a script available to edit and use, click Copy to My Scripts. This will bring up a modal in which you can edit the name and labels.
If the Script template contains any Custom Contact Fields or Organization Attributes:
- You can map these to equivalent items in your institution.
- You can create a new item to map it to.
- You can choose to not map this item. All instances will be converted into [ITEM NAME] in the new Script copy.
Note that this mapping also applies for Save Actions, Set Field Value Actions, and Unset Field Actions. If a Custom Contact Field is not mapped, then any actions that reference it will be skipped.
Once you've copied the script into My Scripts, make sure to open it in the Script Builder to update any generic placeholders, such as [Organization Name] or [Bot Name], before sending it to your learners.
